I fell in love with Burt Lancaster the first time I saw "His Majesty O'Keefe".
Cary Grant will forever be the prime example of a handsome man. Even my dad's own rough and ready cowboy looks (he's a real cowboy) became for me what every guy should look like.
But for the last few decades "the look" for men has evolved and changed, but has it been for the better? In the 80's some guys wore make up. Glad that fad was short lived. In the 90's clean cut and polished came back, briefly.
Nowadays when you look into some guys' medicine cabinets you will see just as many products as you have in your's . Guys get manicures and facials. Any guy who pays attention to his skin care routine is considered a metrosexual. A friend thought I was making that up. So what do you make of your guy when he's spending as much time in the bathroom as you?
I think guys should be "manly". I like a little razor stubble now
and then. To me there is nothing wrong with a face that has some character to it. I don't think he should be perfect. If he has a poc mark or two, there's nothing wrong with that. I prefer a manly smell to that of some expensive cologne. Let boys be boys and not Ken dolls!
